Local reputable restaurant group is seeking an event-junkie and marketing enthusiast! Saltwater Restaurants is looking for an experienced, hungry, and results-driven individual to join our team. This role will support the Director of Marketing with responsibilities including the management of current events and new opportunities for revenue-generating events.  Position will also assist in social media management and other additional marketing campaigns as needed.



  • Minimum of three years previous experience in events and marketing, or related field

  • A degree in marketing, advertising, business or a related field preferred, but not required

  • Entrepreneurial spirit, self-motivated, and comfortable with rapid changes in direction

  • Highly collaborative and able to work well with different types of people

  • Flexible schedule for various evening and weekend events

  • Strong proficiency in MS Office (Adobe programs a plus, but not required!)

  • Stellar written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Strategic judgment with superb problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision

  • Excellent attention to detail and organization

  • Experience or vast knowledge in the restaurant industry is a plus!



  • Assists in planning all event logistics for ongoing and seasonal events

  • Manages event budgets, invoices, and supply inventories

  • Reports as required with post-event recaps and evaluations  

  • Generates, recruits, and manages volunteer programs for large events

  • ‪Keeps direct supervisor apprised on events status on a weekly basis

  • Identifies high-level sponsorship sales opportunities with existing and new accounts

  • Coordinates all aspects of maintaining sponsorships, including on-site promotions, PR opportunities, event collateral distribution, signage, post-event reports, ongoing correspondence, etc.

  • Demonstrates eagerness for identifying new event opportunities for continued growth

  • Establishes and manages special event internship programs

  • Acts as outside sales, becoming active in local social and professional organizations

  • Assists in event marketing and promotions including social, web/digital, and traditional media

  • Curates and manages daily social media content across multiple accounts

  • Establishes social media calendar and keeps up with ongoing industry trends

  • Supports with any additional marketing tasks under the Director of Marketing
