September 18, 2021 - In collaboration with Okaloosa County, The City of Destin, Walton County, Florida State Parks, Choctawhatchee Basin Alliance, and The Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge, Saltwater Restaurants hosted the 2021 International Coastal Beach Cleanup at locations along Okaloosa & Walton County. The cleanup locations included: The Boardwalk, The Crab Trap Destin, Henderson Beach State Park, and Surf Hut, The International Coastal Beach Cleanup is one of two annual events that Saltwater Restaurants organize. These events engage our community to remove trash from local beaches and waterways. This family-friendly event includes free eco-activities, an event t-shirt, free sandcastle lessons at The Boardwalk location, with a complimentary pancake breakfast.
The Boardwalk & Saltwater Restaurants continues to support the beautiful Emerald Coast through this campaign and their other S.E.A. Initiatives. The S.E.A. Initiative supports keeping our beaches Safe, our Environment beautiful, and Activities kid-approved & family-friendly!
